Terms of Use – Methods of Payment – Shipment of Goods


A. Terms of use of the web site

Browsing and use of the services offered by the web site mentioned below (section A.1.b) implies the explicit and unconditional acceptance of the following terms and conditions including all that is described in sections (B) & (C) of the present document.

1. Definitions
In the text that follows, the following conventions have been adopted:

a) The CORADI Publishing House, owned by PERILLO LUIGI, located in Varese, at 64, General Cantore Street - 21100 Varese - Italy, hereinafter and for brevity will be referred to as the PUBLISHING HOUSE.

b) The web site, identified by the unique name www.hercolubus.it, is an official electronic shop on the Internet for the exhibition and sale of goods by the PUBLISHING HOUSE, which herein and for brevity will be referred to as the WEB SITE.

c) The content of the WEB SITE, including images, graphics, photographs, texts, goods and the present document, hereinafter will be referred to as the CONTENT.

d) The names, images, logos and distinctive signs displayed in the WEB SITE, hereinafter will be referred to as the INSIGNIA.

2. Intellectual Property
The CONTENT is the intellectual property of the PUBLISHING HOUSE with reservation of all rights. All intellectual property rights to the CONTENT belong to the PUBLISHING HOUSE or to third parties legally concerned. Any republication or reproduction of the CONTENT through any medium, with or without alteration, without prior written authorisation, is expressly prohibited.

The names: hercolubus.it, coradi.it and hercolubus.eu, which correspond to the respective web sites or lead to web pages of the same, are similarly subject to the same terms and conditions herein.

3. Trademarks
The INSIGNIA, which represent the PUBLISHING HOUSE or third parties, as well as their products, are exclusive and distinctive marks of the above mentioned and are protected by Italian, European Community and international laws regarding intellectual property. In any case, their appearance and exhibition in the WEB SITE should not in any way be deemed as a transferral or a ceding of an authorisation or of a right to their use, without the prior written consent of the PUBLISHING HOUSE or any third legal owner of same.

4. Personal Data
The PUBLISHING HOUSE, in the application of the principles of the protection of personal data, which are specified by International Law and govern issues relating to electronic commerce, consumer protection and distance selling, shall never engage in any illicit use of personal data and by no means shall disclose, publish, sell, lease or exchange information or personal data to or with any third party.

5. Cookies policy
Cookies are small text files, which are stored in the navigation application (browser) of the user during their navigation of the WEBSITE and are necessary for its proper operation, such as in the selection of the language in which the web pages are displayed, the addition of products to the ‘shopping cart’, the use of the Contact page etc. However, the user has the ability, if they so wish, to activate an appropriate setting in their navigation application, in order to delete cookies that have been stored, to completely disable the storage of cookies etc. In the latter case, however, they will not be able to use some of the functions of the WEBSITE, such as those mentioned above.

6. Modification of the terms herein
The PUBLISHING HOUSE reserves the right to modify or update the terms stated herein and undertakes the obligation to inform users of the WEB SITE of any such modifications, by means of this web site, simply by uploading a newer version of same and without any other notification, written or otherwise.


Β. Methods of Payment

Payments for orders made by means of the WEB SITE can be carried out using the following two methods:

1. By credit card debit via PayPal or by debit of a PayPal account: The procedure for the settlement of the payment is carried out by the PayPal web site (www.paypal.com), which provides services for secure electronic transactions. Under no circumstances and in no way does the PUBLISHING HOUSE collect or store credit card information.

2. Payment by bank deposit: The customer deposits the amount in the following account:

indicating the order number in the bank deposit details.

Afterwards, the customers sends the deposit details (date, amount and order number) to the PUBLISHING HOUSE by e-mail (hercolubus@coradi.it) or relays them by phone (+39 0332 232113).

Note: All bank charges are paid by the customer.


C. Shipment of Goods

The PUBLISHING HOUSE sends goods to customers all over the world, using the services of the Italian Post Office (Poste Italiane). For Italy only, the orders are sent by "piego libro" of the Italian Post. For other countries, the books are sent either by priority mail or by “M” bags within a maximum of seven working days from the day an order is received. In case an order cannot be dispatched due to force majeure (bad weather conditions, strikes etc.), the PUBLISHING HOUSE will contact the customer (if the necessary contact details are available) so that they can agree on how to complete the order. In any case, the PUBLISHING HOUSE will do whatever it can to help the order reach its destination as soon as possible.
